April 4th at the Black Sheep Cafe: Panzys, Boon, Akaname, Mystery Gift

FlyerPNGWe’re going to have some cool shows coming up in April, and this one on April 4th will be peachy keen because there are some cool bands scheduled to play that night. Boon is a local alternative band with some super fine, technical jams full of genuine things They don’t come around much, so this will be a real treat to see them play live since they haven’t played a show since around last summer! Also playing this show is Panzys, which is a brand new band from the local area and their fresh sounds are sure to be enjoyable. New bands are priceless so never judge them or take them for granted, give them some support and dance your socks off to their fine rock n roll tunes! Another new band called Akaname will be playing this show and with them they will bring some exciting ska tunes, so let’s get rude and ready for their spooky and groovin banshee jams. The last act we have on this bill is Mystery Gift, local cyber dream indie crud goodness. They’ll really make you remember why you love what you love and you know, this is going to be a really swell show.

It’s gonna be happenin on the first Friday of April. The weather will be fine, it’ll be a grand time. You can find the facebook event here and persue the other cool shows we have coming up before and after this one.

ton

Hey fine folks check it out, there’s gonna be a fun show tonight at the sheep! Bring your sunglasses to watch the uncool dudes in the rad band The Timmys. They’re gonna fill your ears with years of rocky asphalt punker jams. Then the folks in D.I.Y punk band Better Days are coming down from St. Louis to give us some hardcore melodic sass, so don’t forget to wig out. The Oswalds are going to be playing too this evening. Inspired by only the most classic of punk, this local set will refresh your earhairs for sure. Then to put the wax back in those suckers will be Mystery Gift, another local band inspired by video games and cloud sitting.

Come out! Tonight! 7pm! It’ll be fun! Bring some money – $5 to be specific- so the power doesn’t go out.  Check out DumbRex too and for more information on this show you can view the facebook page right here. Also, here are some other shows coming up.

Hey cool cats, hey drab dogs, take a look at what’s coming around tonight. Local pop-punk band Kickstart will be playing energetic tunes will make you want to shoot through the roof and unthaw from this past cold midwestern winter- so you better watch it to make sure your head doesn’t bounce right off. There’s a mysterious band called The Affair coming out ~ooooooohhh~ We can’t tell you a whole lot about that, you’ll just have to come see for yourself what they’re all about. Then there’s going to be a breezy, ambient spoken word band coming around called Cold Wind Calling. From Normal, IL, this band is heavily influenced by weather patterns, seasons, life cycles and change so come out and listen! The last act is called DoggyStylez, and this is going to round out the evening without a doubt. Doggystylez is the reason tonight is going to be a Hip-hop pop-rock hurricane, because these groovy jams will make your clothes turn different colors if you dig it enough. For those of you with a hip-hop vendetta, loosen those cold shoulders of yours and look a different direction for a change because beauty is everywhere, especially in music.
