Videos: Black Sheep Band Lotto Round 2

bandlottophoto

A couple of weekends ago we hosted the second ever Black Sheep Band Lotto show, where volunteers put their names into a box and were drawn in groups of 4’s and 5’s to perform just one show together. We had some very interesting and fun performances come out of the band lotto this year, and we feel sorry for any of you who would have missed it! Today we are bringing you a video of the whole entire show complete with every band’s set who performed (which includes one play). Thanks to our friend Gordon Chang for filming! Check out the video below.

Each year our pals over at The Radon Lounge (Springfield house venue) put on a pretty killer Holiday show, which they call their “Christmas Explosion.” This year The Radon Lounge’s Christmas Explosion is happening on Saturday, December 11th. There will be three acoustic acts performing. The first of which is Dan Smith who performs in the band Listener from Ohio. You can stream some of Listener’s music on the player below. Also on the lineup is another solo act, Levi The Poet. Then kicking things off is Kris Rochelle from the band Red Sweater Lullaby, who also recently performed at Radon. In addition to music you can expect to find a potluck, various games, and coffee.

The Christmas Explosion will begin at 6:30 pm and tickets are $10. Tickets can be pre-ordered online right here. Check out a facebook event for the show right here. The Radon Lounge’s shows are all ages, and to find the address you have to inquire at radonlounge@gmail.com.
