There just so happens to be no shows at Black Sheep this upcoming weekend – however we do have shows coming up this next Monday and Tuesday – this one being Monday July 2nd and featuring a band coming all the way from Australia. How cool! That band is Soakie – punk band from Melbourne, Australia and you can find their music streaming on the player below. We also have another touring band on the bill and that is the fast and angry Gassed from Lexington, Kentucky – who last played in Springfield as part of Dumb Fest 4-ever a couple of years back. Both of those bands will be joined by local support from No Cash Value and Foam Fangers.

This show will start at 7:00 pm and admission is $6. Check out a facebook event for the show right here. Also be sure to check out our shows page for a look at what else is coming up at Black Sheep in the near future.

Today we are bringing you all of those sweet sweet photos from Dumb Fest #6 this past weekend. All of the photos in this batch were taken by Veronica Mullen (who also performed in two bands this past weekend – Ghoul Jr. and Power of Dusk). Veronica shot photos of most of day 2 of the fest (Saturday) at Black Sheep and Skank Skates, also the aftershow at Ms. D’s Kitchen, and at The Old State Capitol the next day.

Find all of Veronica’s photos from Dumb Fest 6 right here on facebook or right here on flickr.

We also know that new Springfield underground music magazine – Activator took a good amount of photos as well, which you can surely find more of in the upcoming second issue of their magazine.

Check out our vids/pics page for a list of more photo albums from past festivals taken over the years at Black Sheep including all of the Dumb Fests.
