Here’s another October show announcement coming at ya fast. This one is happening on Tuesday, October 11th– the very day after the jazz show we just announced. This show is to be for “fans of diet indie and garage pop,” but really you will probably have a good time no matter what you are a fan of. For this show we have the indie punk band Schwervon from Shawnee, Kansas. You can find their music streaming on the player below. Then we also have the spooky garage pop band SAP, from right here in our own backyard. Then up is nothing but Nectar from Champaign/Urbana Illinois. Opening things up for this one we have a solo performance by Kate Ridge from right here in town.

This show will start at 7:00 pm and admission is $5. You can find a facebook event for this one right here. Also be sure to check out our shows page where you can have a good look at all of the shows coming up at Black Sheep this fall.

October 10th at Black Sheep: Real Live Tigers, The Blues, Bungalow, End Times Trio

thebluesweb.jpg

Here’s a show happening at Black Sheep on Monday, October 10th (Columbus Day)! It is going to feature some groups performing various forms of jazz and folk for what surely will be an interesting night. First off we have Real Live Tigers – a solo folk artist from Austin, Texas who did play Black Sheep before a couple of years ago in the summer of 2014. We might have hosted the show outside by our back door? Either way, check out some of Real Live Tigers’s music streaming below. Then the other touring act we have on this bill is “The Blues” from Oakland California. No, that’s not the hockey team there- they are a two-piece experimental jazz project. Then starting this show off, it’s only fitting that we have the End Times Trio– Springfield freeform jazz project lined up. It has also been a minute since we’ve seen them perform on the stage of Black Sheep.

This show will start at 7:00 pm and for admission we are asking for $6. You can find a facebook event for this show right here. Also be sure to check out our shows page for a good look at everything else coming up at Black Sheep this fall.
