We are excited to announce that on Wednesday, April 9th we will be hosting a show for the singer/songwriter Koji from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Koji has released music through Run For Cover Records and No Sleep Records. He is also an activist and founded the organization “Colormake” as a collaborative effort between artists and activists from all over the country. Koji described this tour:

For this tour, I’ll be taping shows at alternative spaces and independent venues for the second installment of my Spring Song live series. I’ll be supporting my first full length Crooked In My Mind which came out on Run For Cover last April. Additionally, I’ll be promoting the first vinyl pressings of both Spring Song Volume 1 and Some Small Way EP. This will be the first KOJI solo tour of the states since last winter’s Acoustic Basement tour with Geoff Rickly and Vinnie Caruana.

You can find some of Koji’s music streaming below.  Koji will be touring with A.N. Palamara, who is another singer/songwriter from North Adams, Massachusetts. There will also be a performance at this show by local emo/hardcore band Our Lady. Opening things up is the newer Springfield acoustic project called Rella.

This show will be another 7:00 pm, $5 show. You can find a facebook event for this right here. Also be sure to check out what else we have coming up at Black Sheep this spring by looking at our shows page.

Welcome to Friday, we’ve got a show at Black Sheep tonight! Montagh will be playing, which is some fresh wheat midwest folk coming straight from the streets of Springfield. To continue the night we’ll have Good Times coming around again! The last time he played for us was way back in October so now is your chance to come hear these acoustic indie-movie lounge tunes. Also playing tonight will be our Santa loving friends in Old Fox Road. These fellas will definitely give us some down-home, feel-good, pop-folk songs to enjoy with some charismatic vocals to tie their whole set up, so come check them out if you didn’t get to catch them at the Radon Lounge a few months ago. To round off the evening will be Devin Williams! He’s from Florida and will have some cool reggae bluesy jams to give to us, so definitely check that out as well, holmes.

This show is TONIGHT. Here is the facebook event. Come at 7pm, bring $5 bux and do not forget to check out Dumb Records! Tonight is going to be an acoustic show and it’s cold out, so there is a good chance that this show will be getting moved to Dumb Records. Here are some other cool shows we have coming up so keep your eyes peeled for the ones that catch your fancy.
