Tonight at Black Sheep: 10 Year Anniversary Show with Looming, *One Surprise Act,* Our Lady, Soap Scum, Unicon Communications

bxs10yearflier2_4

Tonight is a truly big night for us all. Ten years ago from the exact day of yesterday, Black Sheep had it’s first ever show. We thought the very first flier was lost forever, but it showed up on the internet yesterday and you can now find it along with other important pieces of our past on the Black Sheep history page. Tonight we will be celebrating this entire decade of Black Sheep with a five-band show and special lineup. For the show tonight we have Looming playing their first show since the big record release at Black Sheep last month. Before them we have one surprise act that will be taking the stage, and we aren’t giving any hints on what that one is! We also have Our Lady who is recently finishing up recording a new album and getting ready to hit the road to go to The Fest in Florida. Before them is a set by Springfield hardcore band Soap Scum, which has not played at Black Sheep in over a year now. And opening things up right at 7:00 is a brand new Springfield noise project called Unicon Communications, which you can also find streaming below.

In addition to the show there are also a lot of other exciting things happening at Southtown tonight. If you donated to our Project Southtown Kickstarter a couple of months back, we finally have all of the incentives bagged up and ready to go! Come to the show and you will find a table set up where you can grab your bag, just provide some sort of proof of ID! If you are unable to make it tonight, we will be in touch with you about shipping the bags out. Tonight we will also be drawing the names for the Black Sheep Band Lotto Round 2, which will be happening on November 21st. You have until the end of the show tonight to put your name in the band lotto box if you are feeling extra daring.

The show tonight will start right at 7:00 pm and admission is $5. You can find a facebook event for the show right here, and tell us about your first ever Black Sheep experience! Check out a list of other shows coming up at Black Sheep past our ten-year mark right here.
