We announced a show happening at Black Sheep on Saturday, February 18th (one week from tomorrow) a while back. It is to feature Sidelined, Crowns, Stems, Low Weather, Pretend I’m Not There, and Mystery Gift. In addition to all of that going on at Black Sheep, we have an unauthorized experiment of two acts to add to the mix that will be performing inside Dumb in between bands at Black Sheep. Those will be Black Bloc (noise electronic act from New York), and also the intense local noisecore act Gutterpriest. Black Bloc also performed at South Town Studio last summer.

Check out a facebook event for the show at Black Sheep right here. The whole night will kick off at 7:00 pm. The show inside Black Sheep is $8, and for the acts inside Dumb Records we will be taking donations. Also donations = tacos!? Sounds good to us! Looks like The Radon Lounge are going to be having their next show very soon – one week from today on Sunday, February 5th. We also just announced our next show happening at Black Sheep also on that very same night unfortunately, so you will have to choose between shows or try to show-hop to both. This show over at The Radon Lounge features Nashville touring artist Von Strantz, who is no stranger to the lounge. Check out some of her music streaming on the player below. Also on this show is the big time hippy-punk band Good Companions featuring Danny Kerwin. We love the Good Companions. Before that is one of the stars off of the hit Springfield web series “The Studio Show” – Arlin Peebles performing solo. Before that The Radon Lounge has Chicago singer/songwriter David Rokos on board to perform. Looks like things will be opening up with some baked goods by Emma Wilson.

This show will start over at the Radon Lounge at 7:00 pm for just $5. (Same time and cost as the Black Sheep show). Check out a facbook event for this one right here. Also be sure to check out our Springfield shows page for a list of shows coming up in town outside of Black Sheep (we are working on it).
