There is a show tonight! And it is a special show because it is Our Lady’s tour kickoff show! So let’s all come out and show our support for a great local band before they leave and play other towns. Tonight is a three-band show but it will be a good one. As mentioned before, Our Lady will be performing before they leave for tour. Then we have The Disappearing Man playing all the way from West Virginia. And opening things up tonight we have Brandon Carnes playing his solo music.

Get ready to take out those spring jackets because we are already starting to announce some sprint shows coming up this 2013! Today we bring you news of a big metal show happening in March. It has been a while since we have had one of those! The show is happening on Friday, March 15th. We have “For The Fans Tour” coming to Black Sheep featuring the bands The Convalescence, and Kleos! The show will also feature local support from metal act Skywalker. We also have Elyse and Scott Blacula opening things up. It is sure to be a good show!

There is a show tonight! And it’s going to be a really fun one so you should all come out. Kowabunga! Kid is on tour from Champaign, Illinois and you should check out their surf-punk tunes. Then we have Hospital Job playing pop punk for you all and they should have their new vinyl for Downer Downer Downer! Then Nephrons will be there playing some new tunes as well. Lovecow have announced that they have begun recording for a new release at Harm House Basement studios. Singer Cody Jones had this to say:
Seven hours of recording at the f/harmhouse! Needless to say, I have worsening body aches and a scratchy throat. The recordings sound really good so far, though.
We will be sure to keep you all posted on news of new Lovecow recordings and shows in the coming months.
A new festival of bands has been announced that will be held in Champaign, Illinois called Skeletal Lightning Fest. You can see the festival’s website here. The festival will be taking place on April 5th and April 6th. Bands playing include Northless, Dowsing, The Reptilian, Tiny Moving Parts, Restore, Thieves, Droughts, Alta, Victor Shores, Locktender, Coma Regalia, Brighter Arrows, Aseethe, Kittyhawk, Foxing, Boilerman, Easter, Natural Disasters, Hank., Enta. For the complete line up, you can head here. More bands are supposed to be announced on the Skeletal Lightning website sometime before the fest.

Look at that! We have our first February show already. This will be Our Lady’s return from tour show so be sure to come out and show the band your support! We also have touring act This Noise.
