Our Lady: “Feeding Fields”

a3124444518_10Yesterday Springfield emo band Our Lady released the first song from Dawning II, a new and revamped version of their Dawning EP from earlier this year. The song is a completely new version of “Feeding Fields” from the earlier EP. From the Our Lady facebook page:

We are so excited to finally stream a completely new song from the upcoming “Dawning II” release from It’s a Trap! Records! “Feeding Fields” is very much the sequel to the song of the same name on the previous “Dawning” release.
We are all really excited – not only because we are stoked to get some new songs out there, but because the record more accurately depicts what we had originally wanted to do with “Dawning”. We worked with the wonderful Brandon Carnes for producing and recording the E.P. and we couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out. He is probably the hardest working guy we know and you should all go record your band with him. Check out the new song, share it around, and let us know what you think! “Dawning II” will be out on cassette through It a Trap! November 15th.

Dawning II will be released on cassette through It’s A Trap! Records! on November 15th. The first version of Dawning is up for streaming on Our Lady’s bandcamp page. You can also come catch Our Lady play at Black Sheep tonight along with Two Knights, Wir Konnen, and Jess Knight. That show starts at 7:00 pm and is $5.

Tonight at Black Sheep: Two Knights, Our Lady, Wir Konnen, Jessica Knight

showLadies and gents, we have a swell show for you this evening! All the way from Denton Texas, Two Knights will be playing some super uplifting, emo for us. Their tunes will make you want to tap your feet and feel things, so come out and support these guys while they tour! Speaking of feeling things, make sure to check out the local band Our Lady when they play tonight. These rad folks have some new and revamped tunes for us that will really strike deep. Another awesome rad, local emo band Wir Konnen will be playing tonight as well. It’s going to be their cassette release show! Patch Records is sponsoring these sad pups so get some tapes from them and check out their set! Here’s a sneak peak of one of their releases. Jessica Knight of Looming will be performing an acoustic set this evening that will make you feel swell inside, so make sure to check her out too!
