Looks like Central Illinois/Springfield melodic/post-hardcore band Loses The Mighty are heading out on the road for five consecutive days coming up later this week. These include dates in Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. Check out the dates above or below:

Loses The Mighty released their What The Artist Said To The Bird EP late last year, which you can find streaming below. The band does not have any Springfield shows lined up, but the last show of their tour at Error Records in Urbana IL does feature two other Springfield bands.

It looks like a few Springfield bands have tours lineup up for 2015 already, as Wir Können announced an early January run earlier this month. Today we have dates for Springfield emo/hardcore band Our Lady. Our Lady will be heading out on the road with No Sleep Records band Aviator from Boston, Massachusetts. You can stream some of Aviator’s music at the very bottom of the post. The two bands will be heading out on the road starting in late January and going into early February. Springfield emo group Wir Können have announced dates for a winter tour that they will be doing in the beginning of January. Here are those dates:

The last date on the tour is at Black Sheep, where the band will be playing their return-from-tour show on January 9th. That show will be with Bad Banshee, Nectar, and Single Player and more info on that can be found right here. Wir Können released a two-song cassette, God It’s Getting Bad back in October.

Summer isn’t over, and there is still plenty of time to squeeze in those last few summer tours before fall starts and we enter a new season at Black Sheep. It looks like new Springfield folk duo Wilt Candy have announced their first ever tour happening later this month. They will be hitting the road with Central Illinois friends Old Fox Road. The two bands will be hitting some areas of Illinois and also Iowa for this “4 days of fun.” You can find those dates listed on the poster above.

Our Lady were on blacksheepspringfield.com’s list for the best shows, songs, and albums of 2013. Sadly Our Lady currently has no Springfield shows lined up. Sorry. Tim Williams of Our Lady will however be playing a solo set at Black Sheep this Wednesday along with a few other acoustic acts.

Hospital Job will be heading out on tour with Carbondale pop-punk band The Copyrights at the end of June and beginning of July. The two bands will be heading out to Insub Fest in Baltimore, Maryland put on by Insubordination Records. You can check out those tour dates above.

Hospital Job will be playing next in Springfield on Friday, May 24th at The Poon Lagoon along with Nephrons, The Transatlantic, and Lanny Durbin. The band released their full length album Downer Downer Downer late last year. The Copyrights will also be playing in Springfield before their tour with Hospital Job at day two of Dumb Fest at Black Sheep and Skank Skates on June 15th. It is sure to be a blast.
