Tours: Pretend I’m Not There / Hungry Foxes


Looks like local ambient project “Pretend I’m Not There” put together by B.J. Pearce aka “Whistletooth Jack” is heading out on the road. This run is going to be with other Kansas City, Missouri based solo artist Hungry Foxes. Here are the dates for that:

Tours: Livin’ Thing


It looks like the Livin’ Thing “band” will be heading out on the road next month in September. The band will be heading out for eleven days to the areas south of us, such as Texas. Check out the full list of dates below:

Tours: Our Lady


Yesterday we told you about the Our Lady LP release show for their new album called Lure on Friday, August 19th at Black Sheep. Well guess what, that show is also going to be a kick-off for a two-week tour that Our Lady will be going on in support of the new album. Looks like a new crop of Springfield bands are starting to head out on the road to make it to the big times. We’ve got our pretty recently-formed hometown hardcore punk band Pryss planning a tour this August. Here are the dates:

Tours: Livin’ Thing


Looks like The Livin’ Thing Band are headed out on the road for a short run in the middle of this month out to different parts of the Midwest. This run will also feature the release of their demo cassette: It’s A Livin’ Thing out on Rat King Records. Be sure to come out to the first date of this run at Black Sheep on April 13th along with bands Violence Creeps and Pryss and pick up a tape. Check out the rest of the dates below:

It looks like at the same time that Looming will be out hitting the road with Run Forever we have another Springfield band going out on the road for a completely separate tour. Wir Können will be going out from December 31st through January 10th with the acoustic act Farseek from Columbus, Ohio. Check out all the dates below:

It looks like Springfield band Looming will be heading out on tour this time for almost a full month with Run Forever from Pennsylvania. The two bands both put out new albums on No Sleep Records earlier this year. They will be heading out west to California and back on this tour. You can check out the dates below. Springfield band Looming have announced the dates for their tour coming up later this month, surrounding the release of their brand new album Nailbiter, coming out on August 14th on No Sleep Records.
