TONIGHT at Black Sheep: ALL AGES HOBGOBLINSPOOKADELIC 2012

The day is finally here!  Hopefully everyone is finishing up the final touches on those costumes because the Hobgob show is tonight!  We have quite the incredible line up of bands tonight, starting at 7:00 pm for $5.  First up is Say Something, a new project of former members of Don’t Mess With Winkie and a few other Springfield bands.  We are not quite sure what they sound like since this is their first show, but we were told to bring our skanking shoes tonight.  Then The Timmys will be playing their CD release show for their new album “Sangamon County Minefield.”  You can find a song off of the new album here.  Third we have the new band Tiger Tank featuring members of the old Springfield band Park.  Tonight will be the band’s Springfield debut!  And last we have NIL8, the papa bears of the Springfield music scene.  NIL8 will be celebrating 30 YEARS of being a band.

We would also like to mention that a lot of time has been spent in recent weeks to the inside of our space.  The space has been painted, cleaned inside and out, and a few other changes have been made.  Some new artwork has also been added, and we would like to thank the artists involved.  We would like to think of tonight as almost a grand re-opening for Black Sheep (even though we have not been closed).  If you have not been to a show in Springfield for a while, come out!  You might have some fun!
