As we mentioned earlier, there are three major outdoor music festivals happening downtown in the month of July. This includes Legacy of Giving Festival this upcoming weekend, Downhome Music Festival at the end of the month, and Abe Fest the weekend of July 9th and 10th.

Abe Fest might feature the fewest bands out of those three, however the festival might be bringing in headliners which might be the heaviest hitters when it comes to national acts. The festival is being held at the Bank of Springfield Center Plaza, and features headlining act Flock of Seagulls on Friday, July 9th and Starship (featuring Mickey Thomas) as the headlining act on Saturday, July 10th. Tickets for each of those dates can be purchased in advance on the Bank of Springfield Center website.
