It’s another very busy Saturday in downtown Springfield. The farmer’s market is going on this morning as it does every Saturday, and Legacy of Giving Music Festival starts back up at noon and goes all night long. We are involved with one of the official aftershows for the festival and are also hosting our very first art show: The Creative Earth Art Show. Our Earth is very creative. For this art show, there is also a show of four acts happening in our space as well, and the music starts at 6:00 pm. We have L.O.G. fest band Fuzzlove playing this as an aftershow. In addition to Fuzzlove, music and poetry acts of the night are going to come from Cody Jones, Hope Fiend, and Shatriya Smith. Hope Fiend is actually a band from the Carbondale area, which we did not realize until recently! Stream some of their music on the player below. Ready for the list of visual artists participating? There you have it! The whole event goes on at our space from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. It’s free, we will just be taking donations for the traveling bands at some point.
