Screen Shot 2015-10-31 at 2.29.57 PM

Today may be Halloween, but last weekend was the big annual Hobgoblinspookadelic at Black Sheep featuring NIL8 and Leftover Crack. The show last weekend ended up being the most attended Black Sheep show that we have ever recorded, probably our biggest show in all 10+ years of being a venue! Things were definitely crazy, and today we are bringing you a video of a song from Leftover Crack’s set. You can check out a video of the song “One Dead Cop” being performed live inside Black Sheep below.

Also be sure to check out our vids/pics page for plenty of more pictures and videos from shows of the past at Black Sheep and around Springfield.

You can stream some of Secret Tombs’s newer material on the player embedded below. Also on a separate tour and also playing here for the studio show on 11/11 is a band called No Brainer from Milwaukee (pictured above). They play some type of hardcore/powerviolence. And then opening the show up we have a brand new Springfield band called The Suction Cups. We have been told the new band features members of Bad Banshee and Ragna Rye.

This show will start at 7:00 pm and admission is $5. You can find a facebook event for this one right here. Also be sure to check out our shows page for a look at everything else coming up in South Town for the rest of this year.

Wow last night was insane. Thank you to all who came out and made one of the most memorable nights in Black Sheep history. Time to get back to all of the other normal shows! Yes, we do have a show happening at Black Sheep on Friday, November 6th! It’s a nice 3 band show that will be pretty relaxing, maybe bring some hot cider and some friends. The out of town band on the bill for this one is Tina Sparkle from Peoria. It’s not Halloween yet, but it might as well be here in Southtown because we will be celebrating one of the biggest annual events for Springfield punk music, and that is the annual Hobgoblinspookadelic that NIL8 plays every year. This year we have an incredible lineup featuring the legendary New York punk band Leftover Crack. Leftover Crack formed in 1998 following the breakup of similar band Chocking Victim. Stream some of Leftover Crack’s music below. Leftover Crack will be touring with Texas band Days N Daze and New York band All Torn Up. Of course also on the bill we have legendary Springfield punk band NIL8, who have been going since the 1980’s. They will be playing second tonight (around 7:30) so make sure to come to the show on time! Opening things up is The Incorporated based out of Litchfield.

The show tonight starts at 7:00 pm. If you ordered a ticket online, we will have your name on a list at the door, just bring some sort of ID! If you purchased a ticket at Dumb Records bring it! For those of you paying at the door, the show is $12. Check out a facebook event for the show right here. Also check out our upcoming show page for Black Sheep right here.
