Videos: Undone At Black Sheep 8-1-16

Tonight we are bringing you a video of one of the first shows of new Springfield band – Undone, who has been doing a lot over the past few weeks but is also having to go on a (possibly temporary) hiatus due to band members moving this fall. Undone features members of Garter, GUSH, and Green Messiah. You can check out a video of them performing at Black Sheep on August 1st along with Blank Spell, Moondead, and GRINN below. Thanks to Ted Keylon for taking video!

Keep a lookout for one final Undone show for a while to be happening sometime very soon! Also keep an ear out for a recorded demo sometime in the near future. Also check our “vids/pics” page for a better look at other videos from bands who have performed here over the years.

Videos: Statues of the Dead at Black Sheep 7-9-16

Today we are bringing you a video of what was one of the most anticipated sets at this year’s Black Sheep Battle of the Bands which happened a couple of weekends ago. That would be Statues of the Dead – a new group featuring members of Say Something and also a five year old rocker. Statues of the Dead were not the winner in either of the voting categories, but they did get a great response from the crowd. You can see our Battle of the Bands recap post right here. Check out that video below. Also be on the lookout for another Statues of the Dead show being announced really soon.

Videos: Torture Trend at Black Sheep 7-4-16

Today we are bringing you a fast an intense video of new Springfield band- “Torture Trend”. The video is of the band’s full twelve-minute set on the fourth of July at a show along with Capitol Offense, Nequient, and Starlorde. You can check it out below. Dumb Fest 4-Ever Videos: Bleeding Gums, 86 Gemini, The Bug

Okay, we really just can’t get enough of the Dumb Fest 4-Ever aftermath here at blacksheepspringfield.com. We have one last little round of videos and then this will be it, we promise. Then it will be time to focus on Black Sheep Fest on August 9th and then possibly another Dumb Fest next year. Tonight we are bringing you videos of sets from Bleeding Gums at Rock N’ Roll Hardee’s, 86 Gemini at Skank Skates, and The Bug at some location we don’t even know about! Dumb Fest 4-Ever Videos: Nobunny, C.C.T.V, GUSH

It may be a few weeks ago now, but we can still not stop thinking about how amazing Dumb Fest 4-Ever was here at Black Sheep/Dumb headquarters. Tonight we are coming at you with another three very special Dumb Fest videos. This includes a video of the one and only Nobunny performing at the world famous Rock N’ Roll Hardee’s, and also the full entire sets of GUSH on the ramp of Skank Skates, and the incredible C.C.T.V. on the stage of Black Sheep. Videos: Shark Week at Black Sheep 5-7-16

It’s been a minute since we’ve had a featured video on our site, well here’s one of a newer Springfield band called Shark Week! This is a video taken from a benefit show at Black Sheep earlier this month. Shark Week plays their song, also by the name of “Shark Week”.

Shark Week will be playing next at Black Sheep this upcoming Saturday, May 28th along with Livin’ Thing, Animals With Human Names, Sweet Bippy, and Blue Parks. You can find a facebook event on that one right here. Shark Week will also be opening day 2 of Dumb Fest 4-Ever this year on June 11th. Videos: Meth Dealer’s Final Show at Black Sheep March 25th

About one month ago on March 25th, Black Sheep hosted a final show for the Decatur Illinois-based hardcore band, Meth Dealer. The show was a wild one, and today we are bringing you video footage of one of their songs from the set. You can check out that video below. Members of Meth Dealer are continuing to play music in a new band called Capitol Offense.
