Today we bring you a hot and fresh music video from Springfield heavy rock band Livin’ Thing for their song “An Island” from their It’s A Livin’ Thing demo that came out last year and was voted one of your top picks for Springfield releases of 2016. The video was put together by “Badmouth Films” out of Birmingham Alabama, and features no one from Springfield. Check it out on the player below!

This April Fools day we are bringing you some more real news of the band Wabeno Rock Farm from Harrison, Wisconsin performing inside of Black Sheep about a month ago at the end of February. The video is of the song “Lighthouse Keeper” off of the band’s new album In Every Good Woman Beats The Heart Of A Cowboy available on vinyl at Dumb Records. Today we are bringing you a new hit music video, and another video shot in our own neighborhood of Southtown Springfield by local hip hop artist “Nefarious Cloud“. The video is for the song “Off Dat” and was actually shot inside Southtown’s own Boof City Skate Shop. Very cool. Check out the video embedded below.

Earlier this month right before Looming played their return show in Springfield right here at The Black Sheep, they made a stop in Chicago to record an Audiotree session. Audiotree is a music company featuring various bands doing live studio concert series. You can check out the full video of the session right here, and also stream the audio from the session on the player below or head over to Looming’s bandcamp page where you can purchase the album for download.

Looming are currently working on their second full length album and follow up to 2015’s Nailbiter. New Southtown recording studio Southtown Sound has also hinted that they have recorded some sort of video and audio session with the band while they were in town to be released sometime soon.

Today we bring you a second music video released in recent times by “Forest Saints” (3rd video overall) -the solo recording project of Mark Schwartz based right here in Springfield. The video (which you can find below) is for the song “Sun/Hand” which comes off of Mark’s fourth album under Forest Saints, Bitter Pill. The other music video was for the song “Stock in Misery” off of the same album, and you can find that right here.

Mark also performs in the freeform jazz band End Times Trio along with Frank Trompeter and Richard Gilman-Opalsky who just gave a talk at Black Sheep this past weekend. There are not plans for any Forest Saints live shows, but we have been told that there is a fifth album for the project in the works! Today we bring you some smashing hot new content in the form of a video of the band Drool from Chicago, Illinois performing at Black Sheep a week ago. The show was on January 17th along with Pryss and Lincoln’s Tomb. Check out a video of Drool performing one of their songs below. Today we bring you some hot video footage of the first Black Sheep show of 2017 which just happened two days ago. The video we have for you today is a song from California’s ACRYLICS set, and it is a banger. Check out that video below. There will also likely be a video of the full set up on the Macomb Events Youtube Channel once our good friend Gordon Chang is finished uploading and editing. The show also featured Fussy from California, and was also the last show for Springfield band GUSH.

It’s already been a couple of weeks since we hosted the third ever Black Sheep band lotto show- the show where volunteers willingly dropped their names into a box to be drawn into random groups that had two months to form a band for one show. Today we are bringing you a video of the whole entire show, including all five bands performances and ending on the streets of Southtown with Band Lotto Band #4.
