Happy April Fools day everyone and 1st day of April, here is a real show that is actually happening inside of Black Sheep tonight. This includes the cosmic weirdo band from right here in Springfield, Sweet Bippy. This show will also be the debut of a brand new Springfield band called “Loudmouth Bo Dean Band” which is the new project of Bo Lowder, formerly of the band “Lowder” and a few other projects. Up before them you better have your phones ready because The Complaint Line will be taking the stage. Opening things up is the rock and roll Pana duo, Roofus.

There is a show happening tonight at Black Sheep! It is the last day of March and tomorrow is the first day of April if that means anything. Tonight we have returning friends Lume from Chicago who have been here a good number of times and played here last in the fall for Our Lady’s final show. You can stream some of their music on the player below. Then we have a rare full-band version of the B.J. Pearce ambient project Pretend I’m Not There. Don’t miss a surely powerful performance from them. Before that once again we have Krelboyne who also performed here last month for our Valentine’s Day show. There has been a slight change the the lineup since we’ve announced things- Drained from Peoria had to drop the bill. 😦 Sorry. Opening things up is a solo performance by Blue Parks of the band Pryss.

Hey! Did you know we will be having a show at Black Sheep tonight and it’s the only show happening this weekend? Tonight is going to be a big all-local lineup and the big EP release show for Abyss. Abyss will be coming out with their new EP called Dreadnought (pictured above). Opening up for them is a few acts, one of them being the driving punk rock band Sammy & The Punk. Before that is the pop punk project Fill In The Blank who we have not seen in a minute. And opening things up is a band we have not seen an even longer time- Vacant Skies who are also apparently playing their last show as a band tonight.

Tonight’s the night for a big show happening at Black Sheep that we’ve been waiting quite some time for! Tonight we have Looming making a return to Springfield since last August- in town before they head to Texas for SXSW, after they made a stop in Chicago yesterday to record an Audiotree session. The band has also been hard at work on a new album. You can listen to the last recorded song they released on the player embedded below. The rest of this show is going to feature some wild & crazy punk acts. We have two other touring groups on the bill and those include “Erik Nervous” and “Spodee Boy” both from Michigan. Opening things up for this show on the big stage is the big time rock band Livin’ Thing.

Tonight the show will start at 7:00 pm and admission is $10 (since we have 3 touring bands to take care of). Surely this will be a gig not to miss. How could we almost forget this mega huge hardcore show is happening at Black Sheep tonight? It’s our only show of the weekend too, so we best all come out and make it a big one! Tonight we have Falter returning to Black Sheep from Milwaukee for the first time since their crushing performance at the first day of Dumb Fest 4-Ever this past summer. They will be bringing the hardcore, and bringing it hard. Check out some of Falter’s music on the player below. Also on this show we have Springfield heavy hitting punk band Pryss. Also Burdened from Chicago will be performing, and so will Thieves – both bands have performed at Black Sheep a few years back. Opening things up we will have Nagasaki getting the crowd rowdied up.

Yes, it’s real. Tonight will be a show for the truest of the weirdos featuring the one and only mythical and legendary weirdo rock band Wabeno Rock Farm from Harrison, Wisconsin. Before them is a return of our friends Kowabunga! Kid from Champaign-Urbana. And opening things up tonight we actually have The Suction Cups, who are also from somewhere out of this world.
