Our good friend Jeremie Bailey who hangs out on the Dumb Records couch and does the creative content podcast and vlog – “Lincoln’s Legends” has recently featured a few interviews and videos worth noting! First one is an interview with Mario Cannamela of Southtown Sound– the new Southtown recording studio that is launching early 2017 if everything goes as planned with their kickstarter campaign. You can check out that video interview below. For those of you who do not know, the Black Sheep Holiday Show happening tonight is also a benefit for the new studio.

The second video below that is a walkthrough of Downtown Springfield Inc.‘s “Holiday Walks” featuring Downtown Springfield director Lisa Stott. Also in the video you can spot a segment with a pop-up art shop on the old State Capitol Square put together by Clare Frachey of Black Sheep. You can find that video on the bottom. We are all about the twists here at Black Sheep and Dumb Headquarters. We are also about friends and other people doing things and making stuff happen in this beautiful city of Springfield. We have been supportive of Lincoln’s Legends Podcast and Jeremie Bailey and the effort he has put in to seek out and highlight creative minds in our town. Just recently Jeremie and Lincoln’s Legends announced plans for a second season to kick off in just one week… and it’s happening inside Dumb Records! That’s right, Lincoln’s Legends has picked Dumb Records as a new stomping grounds for a new season starting this summer. The Springfield-based podcast will continue with interviews highlighting people doing creative things in our town, and this time the interviews will be conducted on our own couch.
