Get ready for some serious dumb summer craziness in this post-Dumb Fest 2 world. Today we are announcing a last-minute show happening at Dumb Records this Thursday (June 19th). It’s going to be all-acoustic and all-fun. We have also been getting plenty of new arrivals in store so this will be a good chance to check those out. For this show we have Gospel & The Wolf touring from Austin Texas. He has made a stop in Springfield a few times before in recent years. On tour with Gospel & The Wolf will be With Teeth & Nails from San Antonio, Texas. Then we have a couple of local Springfield acts. We have Bo Mellado, playing all of your favorite Mouthsex, Asthma, and King Worm tracks unplugged. We also have Rella featuring Clare Frachey of JAG.

New Arrivals at Dumb Records This Week, Dumb Fest Hour Changes

Dumb Records has a few good surprises in store this week, just in time for Dumb Fest 2. You can find a list of those new arrivals below, and you can also expect a few more arrivals to pop up in the store during Dumb Fest weekend.

Dumb Records will also be open for some extended hours this weekend for Dumb Fest 2. Those hours are as follow:

Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm
Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm

Dumb Records is located at 1107 South Grand Avenue. Even though there is a door cost to get into Dumb Fest 2, Dumb Records will remain open to the public for no charge all weekend. Come stop by, even if you can’t stick around for Dumb Fest!

Today at Dumb Records: Summer Kickoff Sale

dumbrecordssummerkickoffThis weekend was a big summer kickoff for Black Sheep, and now today (yes, that’s right on Sunday) Dumb Records will be having their big summer kickoff sale. For those of you would do not know, Dumb Records is now open Sundays (starting today, June 1st). Now Dumb Records’s hours are as follows:

Tuesdays: 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Fridays: 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Saturdays: 10:00 am – 9:00 pm
Sundays: 11:00 am – 8:00 pm

Today is a good day to stop into Dumb Records. Why’s that? Because the store will be having their summer kickoff sale! This means you get 10% off any new and 25% off any used items in store. Sounds like a pretty good reason to stop into Dumb Records today if you ask us. For those of you who do not know, Dumb Records is located on 1107 South Grand Avenue.

Now you can be nice and get your friends and family some nice Dumb Records gift certificates, for any amount. We will have them at the counter at Dumb Records. Dumb Records is open tonight until 9:00 pm.

Did you also know that Dumb Records is now going to be open on Sundays? That’s right, and starting this Sunday you can come into Dumb Records (located at 1107 South Grand Ave) anytime from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Wow, that’s right. There are some big changes happening at local South Town record store Dumb Records right about now. As you might be able to tell in the picture above, Dumb Records recently got a bunch of nice fancy new record shelves thanks to Black Sheep confident dad Miles Fowler. There are also a number of new arrivals in this week.

Today we are announcing new summer hours for Dumb Records. The store will now be open on Sundays from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Okay? So here are Dumb Records’s new summer hours:

Sundays from 11am – 8pm
Tuesdays from 3pm – 8pm
Fridays from 3pm – 9pm
Saturdays from 10am – 9pm
During Shows from 6pm – 9pm

Okay? Does that sound good? Now you have no excuse to come in and hang out at our new record store. To make sure you have even less of an excuse not to come in, we are kicking off our new hours and this summer with a big SUMMER KICKOFF SALE!! The sale is happening this Sunday, June 1st.
