We want to thank all of you who came out or stopped by Black Sheep Fest 2015 that happened yesterday. It was our eighth annual festival, and we couldn’t be happier with the way things turned out! 15 local acts ended up playing inside Black Sheep, and then there were two more that played an aftershow up in South Town Studio. Expect photos and videos to come soon!

Also keep your eyes and ears peeled for a big Black Sheep ten year anniversary show coming up this September!

Today is a pretty big day for all of Southtown, because happening today is Black Sheep Fest- our annual festival celebrating local music in Springfield and our second big festival of the summer. The festival today is starting right at 2:30 pm, try to catch as many bands as you can! Teen Freak sadly had to drop the festival, but we might have another act to make up for it going on at 4:10. It’s hard to believe it, but our second fest of the summer is just one week away- Black Sheep Fest happening on Saturday, July 25th. This year we have a lineup of fifteen local acts playing, all of which have already been announced and can be found on the flier above. Today we have the set times for all of those bands- we are also pushing the start time of the fest to 2:30 pm. Make sure to come out early and stay late because the day is going to be packed with fun! Here is the lineup along with set times:

Black Sheep Fest 2015 is coming up fast. The festival is happening in just less than three weeks on Saturday, July 25th. It is time for us to get our t-shirt order together for the fest, and we need your help choosing a design! We’ve collected a total of 13 great t-shirt design submissions from this year’s t-shirt designing contest, which is more than we have had the past two years! This year it’s harder than ever to chose! Let’s take a look at those 13 different designs!

There you have it, folks! As you can see, we have a submission number at the top of each design. Now you can go take the survey and put in your vote RIGHT HERE. You can vote for multiple designs on our survey, but you can only submit one survey response, so make it count! Voting will continue for the next few days, ending on Thursday night at midnight. As we just got done with an incredible Dumb Fest 3-D this past weekend (be on the lookout for pictures and videos soon), today we are announcing our other summer festival- Black Sheep Fest 2015! What a lineup! Once again we have a spot reserved for the Black Sheep Battle of The Bands winner- the battle will be happening on Saturday, July 11th (lineup announced soon). This is also the first Black Sheep Fest in many years where we have brought some hip hop related acts, and there will be a 30 minute block set aside to HISO Music Entertainment. The festival will be starting this year at 3:00 pm and admission is just $5. Find a facebook event for the fest very soon! Today we are coming to you with the official date for Black Sheep Fest 2015- which with be our eighth Black Sheep Fest held at Black Sheep so far! The date for that is Saturday, July 25th– so mark your calendars and plan your summer vacations accordingly! No bands are being announced just yet, the final flier and lineup will likely be made available at Dumb Fest 3D on June 12th and 13th.
