Today is Monday and we’ve got a fresh new band page for you all. This one is for the new Springfield punk band Panzys. Who is Panzys? Well if you head over to their page you just might learn a thing or two about the band and who all is in it. Panzys’ next Black Sheep Show is Saturday May 31st along with Asthma, Swamp Rat, Akaname, and King Worm.

Today we are bringing you a brand new band page on our site for Springfield rock band Set Piece. Set Piece have been around for over ten years now- since 2003. They performed at Black Sheep for their first time this past weekend with Dog of Panic, Red Letter Days, and a few others. At the end of the show at Black Sheep this past Friday, a new band unexpectedly took the stage, grabbed the microphone and blew us all away with a wave of sludgy doom. That new band is Swamp Rat– a brand new hardcore/sludge band that has recently emerged from the depths of South Town’s sewers. Today we are bringing you a new page for the band, which you can find right here. On that page you can learn more about Swamp Rat. We have been promised that new recordings for the band are coming very soon.

Today we are bringing you an unofficial big fat bag of gold St. Patrick’s Day treat. It is a brand new band page for the new Springfield band Mouthsex (pronnounced Mouth’s Ex or Mouth Sex). Today we are bringing you a brand new band page on our site for one of Springfield’s newest metal bands, Kharybdis. Kharybdis played their first show at Black Sheep earlier this month and have a few more lined up. On their page you can see videos of the band and also read up a little more on what they are about. It’s not Monday, but today we are bringing you a brand new band page for a new Springfield acoustic act. That act is Rella, the new solo project of Clare Frachey. Rella played at our acoustic show this past weekend, which was held inside of Dumb Records. Clare is also involved in a new band called JAG which will be playing their first show on Friday, March 7th at Black Sheep. Today we are bringing you a brand new page here at blacksheepspringfield.com for Springfield noise artist Owen Davis. Owen Davis has yet to perform live at all at this point, but he has released many many things on various labels. Owen also runs his own label called Clouded Sky Recordings, where he has released music and noise from artists from various parts of the globe. You can check out Owen’s new page right here, where you can stream some of his noise and find out more about Owen’s project.

Today we have a brand new band page on our site set up for the rock band The Complaint Line. The Complaint Line are a rock band based out of Central Illinois.
