Today we are finally able to present to you an official Black Sheep band page for the legendary Springfield solo musician known as “Nighthawk.” If you live in Springfield or have ever been to a show at Black Sheep chances are you have met Nighthawk playing guitar loops outside with his seven-string guitar and backpack/mini-amp combination. You can check out the brand new Nighthawk band page right here. On the page you can read up a little more about Nighthawk, and stream his hit single “Lesbian Dragon.” Nighthawk also appears to have two live shows coming up scheduled at Black Sheep. The first is the Cooshit “SuperDopeDank Show” happening on Friday, February 13th. The second is a show happening on Friday, February 27th which we will be officially announcing very soon.

Those of you who were at the show at Black Sheep this past Saturday may have caught Springfield’s newest hardcore band, Diaper Rash. From what we hear the band is made up of a bunch of babies. If you were not at the show Saturday and are still wondering who is in Diaper Rash, we uncovered some more information to bring you today. Today we have a brand new band page on our site, where you can learn more about the band and stream some of their music. You can check out that new page right here. Diaper Rash will be playing in town next at Donnie’s Homespun on December 26th.

They have been playing shows at Black Sheep for a while, but since they have had members move to Springfield we felt that Loses The Mighty needed a band page on our long list of Springfield local bands. You can now go here and check out a band page set up for Loses The Mighty where you can find out more about their band and stream some tunes. Loses The Mighty will be playing at Black Sheep next on Saturday, December 27th for the EP release show for their new EP What The Artist Said To The Bird. That show is also with Krelboyne, Au Revoir, Panzys, and Lifewithout.

With 65 active local Springfield bands on our current bands page, the list is still growing and today we have one more page added and that is for the local band that go by the name The Locals. The Locals were this past year’s winners for the Black Sheep’s annual Battle of the Bands. They won both the judicial voting and the crowd voting, and got some studio time at South Town Studio this fall. Everyone has been talking about that new Springfield German punk band, Milchjunge ever since their first show earlier this month. Today we are bringing you a fresh new band page for the new band. You can check that out right here. On the page you can stream some of Milchjunge’s music and if you can read German you might actually learn a thing or two about the band. Milchjunge will be playing at Black Sheep this Saturday (November 29th) with Hollow Earth, The Sheds, KDC, and Loses The Mighty. Today is Monday and it has been a while since we have added any new band pages to our long list of current bands in Springfield. Today we want to get back into the routine of featuring new local bands on our site, and we have a brand new page set up for blues rock band Ragna Rye. Ragna Rye played at Dumb Records last month as a part of our October show series, and put on a great acoustic show in the store. It looks like the Black Sheep Band Lotto that happened a couple of weekends ago resulted in a new Springfield band. That band is going by the name “Teen Freak” and today we are bringing you a brand new band page for the new band. You can find that right here. Teen Freak features members of Looming, Soap Scum, and The Locals among a few other bands. You can catch Teen Freak live next at Black Sheep on Thursday, September 18th along with F///\\\M, Secret Tombs, and JAG.

Today we are bringing you a new band page for newer Springfield screamo/scramz band I’m Dead Inside. The band just played Black Sheep Fest 2014 this past weekend and it sure was loud.
