Today we bring you some good news and bad news about a show happening at Black Sheep on Sunday, September 29th. We’ll go ahead and get the bad news out of the way first. The bad news is that Sword Swallower from Chicago will no longer be playing the show. Ready for the good news? The good news is that the show will be the return of post-rock/math rock Chicago band My Dad to Black Sheep! You might have remembered My Dad playing at Black Sheep back in February as the band with two drummers. We have some of their songs streaming on the bandcamp player at the bottom of this post.
The show will still feature Springfield emo band Our Lady, Chicago screamo Lord Snow, Peoria/Bloomington band Yusuke, and a new Springfield project called Mystery Gift. The show starts at 7:00 pm and admission is $5. You can find a facebook event for the show right here. Also don’t forget to check out what else is coming up at Black Sheep this fall!
