Today we are bringing you an extra noisey split between Springfield artist Owen Davis and Ashley Blues all the way from Russia. The split features five tracks (three from Ashley and two from Owen) and it is soon to be released on CD through Palemoon Productions. Owen Davis has yet to perform live at Black Sheep. If that ever changes we will be sure to let you know when his next performance will be!

Although anything 2013 at this point may seem like old news, but today we are bringing you some almost-new music from Springfield emo band Wir Können as part of their “2013 Demo”. You can stream the four-song demo below, or head over to bandcamp where you can stream and download them all for free.

Wir Können will be playing Springfield next this Tuesday, January 7th at Black Sheep along with Dan Mariska, See Through Dresses, and Mario Cannamela.

Dawning II is now up for online order from It’s a Trap! Records as well as available for stream and download on Bandcamp. We are very excited to be releasing this with such an awesome label like It’s a Trap! and even more excited to finally be able to share it with you. This is a very emotional record for us and everyone’s support over the last year has not only made this revision possible, but has really pushed us to make it happen. Thank you to Brandon Carnes for putting in so much time recording and producing this EP, Ashley and It’s a Trap! for all the hard work and being so onboard to put out a very strange version of a re-release, and thank you to anyone who has let us sleep on their floor, bought a shirt, followed us on our stupid social media sites or have supported us in any way.

Today we are bringing you a stream of the two new songs by one of Springfield’s newest bands- Wir Können. Wir Können are a new three piece emo band featuring members of Looming, Lovecow, and Montagh. Their new cassette was released by Springfield label Patch Records earlier this month and it features two songs. You can check out the songs “Glow” and “Mani Pedi” on the player embedded below.

Today we are bringing you a stream of the new EP from Springfield’s newest villains Table Drama. The new EP, which can be bought at shows, is being released by Springfield label Patch Records on CD. Table Drama are a new band that arose from the ashes of old Springfield wrestling villains Scott Blacula. Keep your eyes and ears out for any upcoming Table Drama shows or battle sets coming to Black Sheep.

Yesterday Springfield emo band Our Lady released the first song from Dawning II, a new and revamped version of their Dawning EP from earlier this year. The song is a completely new version of “Feeding Fields” from the earlier EP. From the Our Lady facebook page:

We are so excited to finally stream a completely new song from the upcoming “Dawning II” release from It’s a Trap! Records! “Feeding Fields” is very much the sequel to the song of the same name on the previous “Dawning” release.
We are all really excited – not only because we are stoked to get some new songs out there, but because the record more accurately depicts what we had originally wanted to do with “Dawning”. We worked with the wonderful Brandon Carnes for producing and recording the E.P. and we couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out. He is probably the hardest working guy we know and you should all go record your band with him. Check out the new song, share it around, and let us know what you think! “Dawning II” will be out on cassette through It a Trap! November 15th.

Yesterday we brought you news that Springfield’s band of villains and heels Scott Blacula have somehow come back from the dead and have evolved into a new band called Table Drama. You can find our post about that with a video of what happened at the show last weekend right here. Today we are bringing you a brand new song from the new band Table Drama featuring the same members of the band that once was Scott Blacula. The song is called “Hangin’ With Mr. Benoit” and you can stream it below. The song comes from the band’s upcoming Heel EP which does not yet have a release date.
