On Saturday, February 9th there will be a show. This might not be your typical show because we hear that two of these bands might be putting on a BATTLE SET. That’s right folks, Scott Blacula might be battling it out with wrestling fanatics Dino Bravo. With both bands being extreme fans of wrestling, this will be a battle/wrestle match for the record books. Who will win? Last time Scott Blacula played a battle set they won over guitarist Nick DeMarco from Our Lady. We will see what happens this time around!
On one end of the ring we have the undefeated villains Scott Blacula. Come out to boo them on! Then on the other side we have Champaign villains and sludgy Melvins-y rock band Dino Bravo. Joining in on the fun we have Emperor Norton who play magic skate punk thrash. Then opening things up we have Austin & Austin who may be our referees for the match.
The show will start at 7:00 pm and is $5. You can find a facebook event for the show right here. Also be sure to head over to our shows page so you can see what other shows are coming up at the Black Sheep.

Teenage Bottlerocket is a pop-punk band from Laramie, Wyoming, formed in 2001. The band was formed by twin brothers Ray and Brandon Carlisle after their previous band Homeless Wonders broke up in 2000, and is completed by Kody Templeman and Miguel Chen. The band’s music is heavily influenced by Kody’s other band, The Lillingtons. On February 10th 2009, Teenage Bottlerocket signed with punk label Fat Wreck Chords, later releasing They Came From The Shadows, their fourth and most recent album, on the 15th of September. Off with Their Heads is a punk rock band formed in 2002 from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Since their formation, they have often featured a rotating line-up of tour players, due to their members’ other commitments and Off With Their Head’s own full-time touring schedule.
