Tonight we have a pretty quick and last minute show at Black Sheep for you all. It will feature three bands.

This show will feature two touring bands from Indiana and one local. For one of the two touring bands we have the Indianappolis screamo band Tantive IV (pictured above). You might remember Tantive IV playing a South Town Studio show earlier this year. Tantive IV will be coming with another Indy band called “The Creative.” You can check out some of The Creative’s music streaming below. The one local on the show right now is the screamo/hardcore band WARRS, who just recently released their seven-track demo and will possibly have it out on cassette for this show.

Tonight we have a five band show at Black Sheep, ending a streak of five shows happening in six days. Tonight Wir Können will be playing their return-from-tour show- they have been out on the road traveling South to Florida and elsewhere. Wir Können has been out on the road with the band “I Before E” from Atlanta, Georgia who will also be playing the show tonight. You can stream some of I Before E’s music on the player below. Also on this show we have the Chicago sceamo band “Itto,” who wiill be playing their first show here at Black Sheep since Dumb Fest 2 last year. Then we have a third touring band, and that is “Naturally The Foundation Will Bear Your Expenses” from Omaha, Nebraska. Opening things up we have the newer instrumental band from Springfield called Fel Fae.

Tonight at Black Sheep is our third show out of four in a row and we have lots of rock music coming your way! For this show we have a band called The Sites coming from Pekin, Illinois. We also have the surf/rock Peoria band The Oceanographers on the show. The Oceanographers are no strangers to Black Sheep, as they played here back in October. Next on the lineup is local Springfield rock group, Full Chroma, who will be sure to make you jump up and down. Stream some of Full Chroma’s music on the player below. To complete the lineup we have another rock group from Mantino, Illinois called Full Mountain Force. There is a lot happening in town tonight! First off there is a great rock show happening at Black Sheep tonight. Two Chicago area bands- In Exile and The Howl will be playing the final date for their recent Northeast tour. Both bands have played Black Sheep a few times before. In Exile is pictured above, and you can find some of The Howl’s new music streaming below. Aside from those touring bands, we also have the Springfield rock band “Space Alpacas” taking the stage. Come to the show right when it starts at 7:00 and you might be able to catch a rare on stage performance of the legendary Nighthawk.

That show is for ages 21+ and begins at 9:00 pm.

It is a Tuesday night and we have a three-band show happening tonight at Black Sheep! This show will feature the local band Our Lady, who have recently signed to Mayfly Records and are currently working on a new album. For this show we also have the Boston post-hardcore band, Aviator. Our Lady and Aviator toured together this past January. Check out some of Aviator’s music streaming below if you are unfamiliar with the band! This show will also feature a solo performance by Jessica Knight of the band Looming.

Tonight is going to be an extremely metal night at Black Sheep as we have a total of six metal bands playing for a deal of $8! This show will feature the technical death metal band Ænimus coming all the way from San Francisco! You can check out one of their music videos below. Then there is the St. Louis progressive metal band called Shapist, who are on Valkyrie Records. Then also touring with is the technical death metal band WRVTH from Northern California. Then we also have a good chunk of local metal bands. We have the metal band Kharybdis, who are making a big comeback as a local metal band since last spring. Also on this show is the Central Illinois-based metalcore band Noesis. And opening things up we have Animus from Taylorville, Illinois.

Tonight is Mothers Day, and tonight is also our third show out of three shows happening this weekend! Tonight features the hit Cincinnati, Ohio fuzz pop band on tour- Vacation. You can check out some of Vacation’s music streaming below. We also have local pop band Looming, who have been busy working on a new album. Also on this show is Champaign/Urbana punk band Kowabunga! Kid who last played here back in March.

There is a show happening tonight at Black Sheep and it is show #2 out of three shows in a row this weekend. Tonight features a four-band local lineup of a few bands we have not seen play at Black Sheep in a while. We have the metal group Abyss from Central Illinois. We also have the return of the Rochester pop-punk group, The Science Of. Stream some of their music on the player below. Also on this show is the Taylorvilla, IL punk group Fill In The Blank. And opening things up we have a performance by a newer band called 8th Street Ahead.

Tonight is going to mark a weekend of three shows in a row here at Black Sheep, and we have been told that the show tonight has something for everybody! Headlining the bill is the thrash/hardcore baby-band “Diaper Rash.” What shenanigans will the band be pulling this time? Come to the show and find out! We also have a ska/punk band from New York coming to town for this show called Eli Whitney & The Sound Machine! Stream some of their music on the player below. Coming along with Eli Whitney & The Sound Machine and also from New York is a blues act, Freya Wilcox. Then opening the show up will be the local band known as The Locals!
