You can check out a few of those below, or head over to our flickr page to see all of the photos from the night.

Photos from Hobgob at Donnie’s Homespun
Below we have a few pictures of the second all ages Hobgoblinspookadelic show this year at Donnie’s Homespun during NIL8‘s set. Hopefully everyone had a blast! If you have any more pictures from this show or any other Springfield show send them to us at blacksheepspringfield@gmail.com and we will feature them on our site! You can also find more pictures of non-Black Sheep shows on our Springfield shows flickr set.
The last picture is of a speaker that caught fire, and was quickly put out! There were also a few complaints with the sound inside of the venue that night, to which Donnie’s has responded to.
On behalf of Donnies, we are taking your comments very seriously and are currently working to fix these issues. Thanks everyone for throwing down Saturday night. Sometimes it takes a packed house to really highlight the issues with a venue. Your continued support will help us to carry on improving the venue and overcome any financial limitations restricting us from achieving the best possible product.
More Vintage Black Sheep Photos
Our archeologists found a cache of more pictures that feature Black Sheep from yesteryear. These pictures shows Kick To Tha Head and HK-47 playing in an infant BXS with brilliantly colored walls and fresh art. We thank explorer and archeologist Dr. Kevin Bradford for these artifacts.
Click on the pictures to link to our awesome Flickr page chock-full of fliers, band photos, and more.

Photos: Black Sheep in 2005
If you enjoyed looking at the old South Town photos from the early 1900s, then some of you may really enjoy catching a glimpse of what Black Sheep as a music venue was like at the very beginning. Our team of archeologists and paleontologists have uncovered even more photos, and this time they are from the ancient year of 2005, the year Black Sheep started.
A few more of these pictures can be seen in our Black Sheep flickr set.
More Old Southtown Photos
Some of our very skilled archeologists continue to uncover more old photos from Southtown and Black Sheep’s distant past. This time we have a photo of Bourbon Street bar from 1948 and also a photo of the construction of the bridge going under the railroad on South Grand in 1930.
In the photo from 1902 that includes a house standing where Black Sheep is today, we forgot to include a before and after picture. You can see the original photo below, and then how Southtown looks today, 110 years later.
You can also check out a few more of these old photos along with plenty of new ones on our Black Sheep flickr album.
New Flickr Albums: Black Sheep Fliers, Springfield Fliers
We have added two new albums to our growing flickr account. One is a collection of Black Sheep shows from the past, which can be seen here. The other is a collection of non-Black Sheep shows that have taken place in other Springfield venues throughout the years, which can be seen here. A big thanks to Kevin, myspace, and the “217 Hardcore The Way It Was” facebook group for all of the photos. If you have any photos of any Springfield shows or fliers, feel free to send them to us at blacksheepspringfield@gmail.com.
