The video is for the song “Divine” and comes off of Chance’s new album called People Pleaser which is being released at a big release show that is happening here at Dumb Records this Saturday night! This one is for Øttø San’s song “Origin” and you can find it on youtube right here, and also on the player directly below. This one was shot by local videographer Elijah Settles.

Today we bring you a fresh new local music video by hip hop group “Wasted Talent” for their song “Wasted Creativity”. The video was shot by Jayy Wills Entertainment in a few places in town that look a little too familiar. Check out the video streaming below, or on Youtube right here. Wasted Talent doesn’t have any live shows lined up that we know of.

Today we are bringing you a brand new music video from big time Springfield country rock band Lick Creek. The band recently released their full length album Too Damn Country, which we have plenty of copies of on CD inside of our store! The music video the band has released is for the song “Big Dogs” off of that album and stars none other than The Chili Bowl Mullet Man himself™. The video was shot and produced by Crowdson Creative, who was also responsible for the recent Blushe video and interview Activator Magazine put together with live footage inside our own space. With HISO Music, Twenty One Seven Studios, Jayy Wills Ent., Elijah Settles, Catalano Creative, and so many other great videographers active in this town right now it’s hard to keep up with all of the music videos that have been coming out this year! This one is a couple of weeks old already, but today we are bringing you a brand new Springfield music video for local rap artist “TaQsem“. TaQsem opened up for the Skatalites last month, and here he is with a new music video also shot out on the Y-Block stage. The video is for the song “Conejo” and you can find it streaming below, or check it out on youtube right here. From our understanding this one was shot by Elijah Settles in collaboration with HISO Music.

Today we are bringing you a fresh new music video from local Americana trio “Deep Hollow“. The video is for their song “Carry Me” which was a track on the band’s latest album Weary Traveler which was released last year. It won’t let us embed the video below, will it? Dang it. You are going to have to go on over to The Deep Hollow’s facebook page to watch this video, right here. This neat video features a few friends of ours from all over Springfield singing along, including a one second clip of Dumb Records volunteer Brian Galecki in our store! The video was shot and directed by Josh Catalano of Catalano Creative.

The Deep Hollow opened up for Lionel Richie at The Bank of Springfield Center earlier this month. We are not sure of any other shows they have coming up right now. Check out our vids/pics page for a long list of Springfield music videos shot over the years that we are adding this one to.

Today we bring you some more local music in the form of a new single and music video from local artist Kylie Rogers who goes by “Ky R.” The video was shot and produced by HISO Music, which Ky R is one of the artists on the current HISO Music Company’s roster. You can check out her video for her song “Unfinished Business” embedded below, or head over to the HISO youtube page to view it right here.

Ky R released a 10 song album, Shivers, last year. You can check out that album on Spotify right here. We’ve also added this music video to a long list of local music videos on our vids/pics page.

This afternoon we are bringing you a new hit music video put together by artist Cody Jones. The video is for the song “Secret Boss” which came from Cody’s recent album All Our Friends Are Algorithms released earlier this year. You can find that full album streaming right here. You can find that video below. We have had trouble embedding facebook videos to website posts in the past, so really hoping this one works!!

Cody performed at the most recent first ever “Creative Earth Art Show” inside of our new space about a week ago. We have also added this one to our vids/shows page which looks like has very much overgrown over the years, we’ve got a long list of local music videos on that.

Here’s one we are also a little late in posting, but we always want to give you a heads up on any new music videos from any local bands here in Springfield once they are released! This one is coming from alternative rock n’ roll outfit Good Times & Co. – this past fall the band flew out to California to shoot this music video for their song “The Sound.” You can check that out on the player below. The video was shot and produced by Red Creek Films.

The next show in Springfield Good Times & Co. has lined up is March 10th at The Blue Grouch. They also just got done with a tour with Decatur band Mammoth Cannon down to Florida and back.
