On Sunday, May 5th at 4:30 pm we will be having another roundtable meeting. Since it’s been getting warmer outside we have been taking advantage of meetings and using them as time to get stuff done to improve our space. Check out this list of things we did at the last roundtable meeting. We will be meeting at Black Sheep, and anyone is welcome to come. Even if you don’t have anything to say, come hang out!
On Sunday we met up for another one of our bi-weekly roundtable meetings. It was a nice and sunny day outside, so we did some work outside. Some of us also did some work in the haunted basement. Here is a list of what got done:
– took apart our old drum riser outside and gave the wooden leftovers to George.
– got rid of our TV. Sorry guys.
– cleared up more space in our back room and kitchen and sent a lot of unneeded stuff to the basement.
– cleaned up and organized the basement.
– completely cleared our bookshelf in the back room and painted it black.
We also talked about what we want to do with our space for the summer, and possible ideas on what to do with the bookshelf that we cleared and painted. Sounds like a lot of exciting stuff, right? Guess what? It’s beautiful outside so that means it’s time for another roundtable meeting! There will be a meeting today at Black Sheep at 4:30 pm. We will be cleaning the place up a little bit and talking about important upcoming shows this summer such as Black Sheep Fest, Dumb Fest, and the cover show coming up in May. Once again, everyone and anyone is welcomed to come to these meetings. Any input on how things are ran at Black Sheep or any help would be greatly appreciated!
Tomorrow evening at 7:00 pm we will be hosting another roundtable meeting at Black Sheep (not at the HARM HOUSE). We might be doing a little bit of spring cleaning and gearing up for the very big summer that we have ahead of us. We will be discussing game plans for Dumb Fest and Black Sheep Fest and also some other big shows we have coming up. Anyone is welcomed to come out!
Whoa! The show last night was a huge success! Off With Their Heads had to drop the show due to singer Ryan losing his voice, but the show was still the most attended we’ve had since Black Sheep Fest. Plenty of stage dives and circle pits were had by all! We will be updating you all soon with some pictures of the show as soon as we track them down.
On Sunday we met at Black Sheep to get ready for the show. We did a little bit of spring cleaning. In the following Black Sheep roundtable meetings we will probably be focusing hard on making sure everything goes great for us this summer. We are in some exciting times and this summer is going to be more exciting than ever.

Hi! It has been a few weeks since we had our last Black Sheep roundtable meeting. I hope you all are ready for another one!
Tomorrow we will be meeting at 5:00 pm at Black Sheep (not the HARM HOUSE). We will be doing some big planning for the Teenage Bottlerocket/Off With Their Heads show (happening Monday), cleaning up the inside of the venue, and also discussing some big plans for the summer. The past Black Sheep roundtable meeting on Sunday turned out to be a productive one. We discussed a few things and also ended up putting some mix CDs and compilations together to help promote some upcoming shows (pictured above). As far as things discussed, be on the lookout for some big things at Black Sheep in the near future. Here are some of the things that were brought up:
– The current progress on the old South Town redevelopment project
– Plans of attack for possible big shows at Black Sheep in the near future
– Plans of attack and promotion for the 3-11 Teenage Bottlerocket/Off With Their Heads show
– Ideas for events and shows to take place this summer
We plan on continuing our Sunday night bi-weekly meetings at the Harm House. It is important to mention that everyone is free to come to these meetings. We are not a closed group of people at all. Keep checking back on the site for info on the next meeting!
Tomorrow night at 5:00 pm at the Harm House we will be holding a roundtable meeting to discuss upcoming shows and events at the Black Sheep and other things. We have some big things coming up and we need to talk about them! We plan on also using this time to discuss important street team goals of upcoming shows and also brainstorm ideas of how we can promote our bigger shows. We also plan on bringing up any ideas for summer shows and events. Anyone is welcome to come to the meeting. Even if you just want to sit and listen, come out!

As you may know, we have a few big shows coming up at Black Sheep this spring. We need as much help as we can get promoting these shows and getting the word out! If you would like to be a part of the Black Sheep street team or have any ideas on how we can promote shows better then we need you! We will likely be meeting on this upcoming Sunday evening at 7:00 pm at the Harm House (you can email us at blacksheepspringfield@gmail.com for the address).
A big show we need help promoting is the Teenage Bottlerocket/Off With Their Heads show. We have plenty of posters to pass out for this and if you come to the meeting Sunday we will give you some to hang up/pass out! At the meeting Sunday we will also be talking about bigger shows that are in the works and ideas for the spring and summer. Everyone is welcome to come to these meetings.
Big things are upon us this 2013. We have a radio show now and we will also be making a very big spring show announcement tomorrow. Tonight we will be holding a meeting to discuss some of these things. Come out to Black Sheep at 7:00 pm if you would like to be a part of the discussion. Anyone is welcomed to come.
