Some people behind the skating end of Southtown are doing cool things. The Southtown skate shop located just right above Dumb Records, Boof City Skate Shop, has recently been featured on the newer Springfield focused podcast- Lincoln’s Legends Podcast. Collin Eigenmann of Boof City spoke with Jeremie Bailey of Lincoln’s Legends about the shop, skateboarding, and upcoming projects in the Skanks and Boof City skate community. Collin is also currently working on starting up a new skate park outside at Iles Park (located at 5th and Ash streets).
