Sorry, Too Many Pisces

We had our largest show every last week with HAYWIRE. It was so big we had to split it into 2 shows. Also last week we had a great Harry Styles listening party at the mall. Here you can see we dimmed the lights for all the kissing.

Tonight we have this death grind show happening downtown. Probably not much kissing happening at that one.

Friday at the Mall we have our next new album listening party with Johnny Blue Skys. We’ve also added BTS to the calendar for next week too!

Here are the new hot and fresh vinyls dropping this Friday

– STURGILL SIMPS.. I mean JOHNNY BLUE SKIES is BACK with another album! We have a release party for this one on Friday at 6pm at the mall! “Mutiny After Midnight” is what it is called. The indie exclusive vinyl is red and we’re actually very limited on the copies of those we are getting (we will be saving them for the party).
– TATE MCRAE “So Close To What?? Deluxe” clear vinyl double LP! The expanded version of her album from last year.
– American rock band THE BLACK CROWES almost snuck by us with a new album without us noticing! We only had time to order the black vinyl last minute. “A Pound Of Feathers.”
– Legendary metalcore band CONVERGE is here with a new album “Love Is Not Enough” and we should have the indie exclusive gold vinyl.
– Chicago indie rock band BRIGETTE CALLS ME BABY is back with their second album “Irreversible” and we will have copies on white vinyl.

This week Pepperoni picked Eminem again

“Who likes rap music? Who wants me Pepperoni to do a little rap right now? (Just kidding). No but okay, it’s time that we beef up our Eminem section now, and I’m not just talking about the colorful coated candies. I’ve picked “Encore” before, now it’s time to take it slightly further back in time to Eminem’s most commercially successful album “The Eminem Show,” released in 2002 (24 years ago). This thing has the hits “Without Me,” “Cleanin’ Out My Closet,” “Superman,” and of course “Sing For The Moment.” In 2002 this was number one on the charts for 6 weeks straight. A lot of it went in the rap rock direction, it’s got features from Dr. Dre, D12, Nate Dogg, etc., you all know that this is a hit.”

This week we got Pokemon pinball! Stern’s newest title and probably the best new pinball theme to come out in a while. Using the Stern Insider Connect tool on your phone, you can save your progress and continue capturing pokemon from game to game. Build your pokedex with the 183 pokemon that have launched for this machine, plus all the others which will get released over time. Also keep an eye out for the official pinball launch party and tournament we will be hosting in April!

What a busy week it’s been, and it’s only Wednesday. A couple days ago, Brian Lee of Brian Lee Carpentry and Gold Pan Records stopped by to deliver a new record shelf we ordered. What a guy!
