Today on Black Sheep Radio: Johari Osayi (Poetry at William Vans), Elizabeth Buchta (Lincoln Library)

Today is Friday which means that another episode of The Black Sheep Radio Show will be airing. It’s also a rare Friday without any shows going on at Black Sheep! Today on the show we have not one but TWO great guests lined up. The first guest of the show is going to be new communications manager from the Lincoln Library downtown – Elizabeth Buchta. Elizabeth will be talking to us about new music events being put on inside the library as well as SAME FEST celebrating ethnic diversity in Springfield happening there in late January. Our second guest is Johari Osayi who helped us put together our successful “Resilience” event at Black Sheep this past weekend, and who is also involved in putting together poetry and story telling nights recently at William Vans coffee shop.

Tune in from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on 88.3 WQNA fm to hear this week’s episode! Also stream on Of course we will be playing all of your favorite local tunes as well as music from bands coming to town. Check out our radio page for a few episodes from the past that you can download.
