We’re kicking The Summer Of Dumb off right, I’ll tell you what. We’re hosting two, that’s right two, awesome shows in one night. This is the summer kick off of all summer kick offs! Bring your swim trunks, skateboards, exploring shoes, veggie dogs, high-fructose corn syrup free sodas, and get ready to party.
First up at Black Sheep is the one time only return of Jason Todd. They were a metal band that hailed between 2009 and 2011, and plan on not missing a beat. They’re bringing it all back with the support of Battalion, Heavyarms, Loses The Mighty, and Your Phobia. Doors for this show are at 6pm, and are $5 advance/$7 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased here. You can find more information on the show’s Facebook event.
Next up, we have Fat Wreck Chords’ Masked Intruder. They’ll be bringing their infectious, heartbroken love songs to South Town via Skank Skates Intl. Skank Skates, established 1988, is the indoor skatepark that sits next door to Black Sheep. This show will be rounded out by Springfield’s Hospital Job and The Timmys, plus one to-be-announced local. The doors will be at 7pm. Tickets are $7 in advance, and $10 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased in Dumb Records, or online here. Be sure to check the Facebook event for updates and info.
A lot to digest, I know I know. We just want to make sure that summer knows it’s time to party. So come help us start the summer right! Don’t forget to check here for more summer fun.
