Earlier this fall we told you that Springfield chaotic punk/hardcore band Mother Leopard is working on new material with their new lineup. Earlier this week the band posted updates from their facebook page, saying the new album is to be titled Abandoned Lights. From Mother Leopard’s facebook:

We are several sessions in on writing our new record, tentatively titled “Abandoned Lights”. I am very excited because we have let go of the preconceptions and expectations and I am truly drawing from my inner inspirations for these songs. We look forward to a midwinter release. Sorry we won’t be playing any shows while we are writing throughout October. Have a wonderful fall!

So far Mother Leopard has released one demo in 2011 with a previous lineup. The band does not have any shows lined up right now, but we plan on posting updates on the band’s new record.
