Look at this interesting show that just snuck its way onto our upcoming shows in September! On Thursday, September 12th we are hosting a show that will be a combination of harsh noise and spoken word. We have The Outlook coming all the way from Boston, Massachusetts. What kind of band is The Outlook? The Outlook is not a band! The Outlook is a spoken word project which raises awareness of various social and political issues such as drug abuse, alcoholism, domestic violence, eating disorders, animal abuse, environmentalism, and child prostitution/exploitation. The Outlook will follow the intense and harsh noise of IAMIAM, a newer noise project featuring Austin Connelly of Montagh. This show will also feature a little bit of Springfield spoken word, as we have Aubrey Puyear doing some of her own spoken word. Then we have harsh noise project Gazeebo playing their second show at Black Sheep complete the show.
The show starts at 7:00 pm and admission is $5. You can check out a facebook event for the show right here. Also don’t forget to check out our shows page for a look at what else is going on at Black Sheep this fall.
