On this past Saturday night a big friend and supporter of the Black Sheep’s, Mama Linda and her family lost their home and possessions in an intense and unexpected house fire. The house was located in Lilly, Illinois and played a key role in housing bands during Cornerstone Music Festival as well as other times. Mama Linda also frequently provides food for bands at shows, including plenty of the food that Apryl brings to shows. Here’s a message from Black Sheep owner Kevin Bradford:

Hello everyone, our prayers and hearts go out to our friend “Mamma” Linda Olsen. Linda has been a longtime supporter of Black Sheep and of many other bands and people throughout the years. Linda’s home and all of her possessions were lost in a fire that happened May 10th. Many do not realize that it is usually Linda that gives Apryl the food she uses and prepares for the wonderful meals she gives to our community. The Audiofeed Festival that we are a part of emerged from her generosity and love for all the motley wanderers who were hard up for food that she would dish out in abundance. There is a “Go Fund Me” that is open if you would feel so inclined to donate to. We will also be doing a benefit in late June for her as well.
