We have a particularly expressive show for you guys tonight. It’s going to be real! Check it out, here’s what we’ve got: The Outlook is an organization based in Massachusetts and one or a few of their advocates will be giving us some spoken word tonight. Their main concerns focus on human rights, especially when it comes to children and sexual matters. What they have to say will hopefully educate us on the heavier aspects of the darkness in the world as well as inspire us to do something about it! Further on in the evening,Nick Howells will gracing us with some really awesome piano tunes that are thoughtful and heartfelt, so it looks like we’ll have a rad spoken word performance and some simply beautiful piano songs to change things up and freshen our minds this evening. On the noise side of the spectrum we have IAMIAM, which features Austin Connelly of Springfield’s Montagh and Wir Konnen. His set is raw, reflective and brooding so be sure to check it out. Also check out the noise set Gazeebo, which is deliberate and full of honest rage from the depths of the mind. All of these performances are sure to be rewarding so stick around and check them all out!
The show kicks off at 7:00 pm and admission is $5. There’s possibly going to be a potluck so if you plan on coming to this (which you definitely should) bring food so that the “possibly” aspect of this sentence can turn into “definitely”! If you’re curious, go ahead and check out the facebook event. You can also check out our upcoming shows so you know what days to mark on your calendars!
