We told you about Pygmalion Music Festival happening in Champaign at the end of September, and today we are bringing you news of a hardcore festival taking place in St. Louis, Missouri. Of course there are many many festivals that happen every year in St. Louis and Chicago (too many for us to cover)! Some of you might be heading to Riot Fest in Chicago later this month.

The festival we are telling you about today is Gateway To The West Fest, which is happening October 18th and 19th (Friday and Saturday) at the Mad Magician in St. Louis. The festival features two days packed with plenty of hardcore punk bands from across the  country. Some notable acts include Bracewar, Ramallah, Bent Life, Black Teeth (reunion), Rival Mob, as well as many others. For the full lineup you can head over to the Gateway To The West facebook event. For ticket info and pre-orders, you can head over to Springfield-related record label Dog Years Records’s website. Weekend passes are going for $45.00, get them before they sell out! You can also check out that cool looking flier designed by Springfield’s own Benny Dewitt of Mother Leopard above. You can even check out a trailer for the festival embedded below.
