years active: 2013 – 2015

As a guitar player, Ryan Rogers went looking for the rest of his band. He recruited the current drummer, Shaun Kerr, in late 2012. A few months later a minor setback left The Oswalds (back then the name was “The Daffy Bastards”) disbanded. The band soon got back together and changed their name to “Banned in DC” and soon recruited Ryan’s distant cousin Joe on bass. After over a year of just guitar and drums, Banned in DC had a bass guitarist. But they soon changed their name once more to The Oswalds and the name stuck.
