February 29th at Dumb Records: Golden Curls, Derrick Streibig, Imaginary Colours, Emily Perkins

We have a lot of show announcements to catch up on all of a sudden. Wow. Here is one happening on leap day in fact! Saturday, February 29th. It’s another one presented by The Radon Lounge and Baristie Boys’ Coffee (or something like that). This show features out of town St. Louis indie-pop act, Golden Curls. You can stream their newest album on the player below. We also have the return of Derrick  Streibig – from the band “We Are Warm” based out of the Girard, Illinois area. Up before that we have Imaginary Colours… performing inside of our new space for the first time? Is that true? We might be mistaken on that, but come out to see it either way. Opening things up is a younger singer/songwriter from Petersburg, Emily Perkins performing at our space for the first time.

This show starts at 7:00 pm and admission is $7. Oh! We almost forgot, there is a featured local artist for this show! The works of Jen Santarelli will be on display inside of our show space! Check out a facebook event for all of that right here. Also be sure to check out our shows page for everything else we have coming up this February and beyond.

Deezy Da Paperboy: “Memories”

Local / Lincoln Illinois-based artist Deezy Da Paperboy is continuing his ambitious project of releasing new music ever week here in the year 2020. Today we bring you a new track of his called “Memories.” From Deezy’s facebook page:

This Song was inspired by my Late Aunt. She just passed away from Cancer. Though we all know It was coming. One is never prepared for the loss of someone so significant in your life.
It made me reflect on death and what i, one day too will have to Leave behind. What my Legacy may be.
And what Memories you will have of me.

“Memories” Feat. Lucien Dyar Smith & David Dull
